Hello

Is it possible to install YBT in an external local drive? I'm only interested in making backups and having the chance to restore the whole channel just in case youtube cancels my actual account.

I have lot of videos of mine, so, paying a hosting account is very expensive.

I'm not savvy regarding local servers, but I guess it would be possible to use my computer as local server, and then get the address of the external hard drive, right? Probably I already said silly things...

Thanks a lot

Meanwhile I've bought another software, which is working decently, but yours seems theoretically better to me. I'd try it, if I can avoid the external hosting service...

The question is if I can make a local copy, just for an initial backup and ulterior incrementals. This copy would be used for restoring the youtube channel in another account, if the current one gets cancelled.

In addition, the videos would they be stored with their original resolution (1080p in my case)? The other software I use is storing at 720p...

Kind regards

Albert

Iím about to buy and install tomorrow anothet software  able to backup to a local hard drive, but it requires Parallels for mac. Thatís why I consider that your YBT might be more convenient if It could do the same or similar on local.

I have an urgency and I cannot wait later than saturday.

Hi I'm Rob  I need your help please.

I'm interested in signing up to VL Autoresponder + Warrior Hosting Pack

VL asks for a Domain to signup with. I have my own Domain so I put that in...

My question is...Is that my only Domain VL will allow me to have for my whole Hosting account, or can I add the rest of my Domains after signup?

Thank you

Hello.
thanks for your inquiry.
the domain you enter upon order will be your main domain for cpanel.
however with that package you get unlimited add-on domains, so once
logged into your cpanel you can add as many domains under one cpanel
as you want. Each domain will be a completely new site but you control
them all from one cpanel and your main domain is used when you refer
to your account for support or billing purposes. You can access each
domain web site from cpanel file manager or using ftp client software
once you have added the domains under your "add-on domains" in cpanel,
and of course the domain must be registered and active first.

We offer some of the best domain prices and have sales on different TLDs
each month, so you can also register new domains with VendorLockHosting
from inside your cpanel, inside your client area, or from our main web site.

You can order the hosting & Autoresponder bundle from this link

http://vendorlockhosting.com/autoresponder

I hope that helps.
Let me know if you have any futher questions.

Have a great day !

I have a YT account I'm using now that I currently have YBT setup for.

I had another account that YT shutdown in 2013 that had like 500 videos.  :-(

Would I need to install YBT again in another folder or can one installation handle multiple accounts?

Hey Rick. I feel your pain !  No one at YouTube / Google gives a crap about the little people they destroy when they delete, teminate or disable a YouTube channel for no reason. I think some times people working their take it personal and delete videos or channels they just don't personally like. I have no way to prove that, but it has to be a factor.

Fortunately YBT is here to save butts !!

YBT can backup / restore / clone and control ALL of your YouTube channels from ONE installation.
So no need to have a second installation or any additional folders no.  :D

Let's say you have 4 channels. Channel A B C & D we'll call them to make it simple.

Here's the steps to backup all 4 channels.

  1. login to YBT and click "view my channel"
  2. click authorization link and login to Google account for channel A
  3. when returned to the view channel page click the continue button ( doesn't matter if download module is checked for full channel backups )
  4. when your channel loads, click the "backup this channel  " button at the top. When it says " successfully backed up your channel " you're done with channel A
  5. click "disconnect from channel" button
  6. go back to "view my channel" page, and repeat these steps for channel B
  7. then repeat the steps for channel C and D.
  8. DONE !
All four of your channels are now backed up as separate archives in your YBT control panel. The videos are all stored in the same directory, however they have video title, date, video ID and channel info in the file name so they are easily recognized by both human eyes and YBT can know which ones are which.
To restore any of your four channels, go to "my channel backups" and view your archives.
Select the one you want to restore to YouTube, then click authorization link, and login to the Google account for the channel you want to restore to. This could be the same channel, or a new channel if your channel got deleted.

Once logged in, you just click the "restore this channel" button. You Can pick any of your archives to restore from.
After a few seconds ( or minutes if it's a lot of videos ) it will say "transfer complete " and you can go view your new channel or restored channel on YouTube.
All your videos, titles, tags, descriptions, thumbnails and channel art will be all there ready for you. YBT can save you so much time and frustration in such a situation.
Losing a channel with 500 videos is horrible. Can you imagine having to re-upload them one at a time, re-write titles and descriptions for all of them, remembering what links you had in your descriptions ? and then there's the tags. All those Mega hours of keyword research down the drain !! YBT saves you from all of that pain..... and it gives you full control over embedded players too. So in the event a video gets deleted from YouTube, you don't have to deal with 25 broken embedded players on different sites showing" Sorry this video is currently unavailable " or worse " This video has been removed due to TOS or community guidelines violations " which make you look bad on your own web sites !!
Now you just transfer the video back to YouTube with YBT, titles, tags, descriptions all in tact, and it only takes a few seconds. Then enter the NEW video ID under the widget for that player, and BAM!, all sites showing that dead video have been restored.

The player code is exactly like YouTube, same player, same everything. But you get auto-play feature built in, and you control the video feedso YouTube no longer has power over your web sites.
YBT puts you in the drivers seat and makes fixing YouTube issues a snap !
I hope you enjoy using the software.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Have a great day !
